"Amy is fantastic with our ten month old Patterdale. She clearly really loves and cares about animals.
Our dog, who has separation anxiety, is always happy to see her and very relaxed when we return home. She really does care about him, not just "sitting" with him but playing and interacting with him.
We know if anything were to go wrong that Amy is properly qualified to look after him and also to know if he needs to go to the vet.
To be able to have that trust in her, with our home and our dog, is very valuable to us."
"Amy recently looked after our cats while we were on holiday for two weeks. From our first contact Amy was professional, friendly and reassuringly competent. She was thorough in her crash course of learning all she needed to know about our cats, their habits, personalities and what they'd need while we were away.
We had family staying in our home for a portion of our holiday and Amy happily accommodated a start/stop/start schedule of dates and times when we needed her service. We went on holiday happy and secure that our cats and home were in the best possible care in our absence.
I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Amy and Pets Be Friends and will absolutely be using them again in the future."
“Amy was recommended to us by a friend, and we’ve been so pleased with the service that she’s provided in caring for our cat, George, when we go away. Amy’s definitely somebody who goes the extra mile and she’s always professional, caring, and accommodating.
We love Amy’s tailored service and have absolute peace of mind that George is being beautifully cared for; we especially love receiving photos of George via WhatsApp whilst we are away! It was lovely to see how quickly George warmed to Amy when they first met and we were so impressed with how comprehensively Amy has structured her business: she’s thought of everything, ranging from emergency contacts, to insurance.
We would highly recommend Amy to anyone seeking a pet sitter: her service is second to none.”
"Friends & neighbours are great to rely on when you're away, but are they really the right person to look after your furbaby?
A few years ago I asked a friend to feed my cat while I was away. When I came back she said he'd not eaten much & she hadn't seen him around. My poor cat had been so poorly & nearly had to be put down as he had gone into Kidney failure. If she had just looked for him, an early trip to the vet would have prevented a lot of pain & upset.
I now have 2 beautiful girls who are the apple of my eye (and daddys) & last year I was booking a holiday & decided I wanted a professional to love & care for them. I did a lot of research & came across Pets Be Friends. The professional & clear website gave me some confidence to email.
My girls have a raw diet which isn't for everyone but Amy came round & we talked through everything & she spent time understanding my needs & worries about leaving them alone to go on holiday.
I really didn't need to worry as I received photos & videos of the girls rolling around on their bellies for Amy. To know they are happy is worth so much to me.
I came home & all my post was nicely put on the side, the dirty cat bowls all clean & the raw meat containers had been washed ready to reuse. I was even cheeky & asked her to feed a couple of hedgehogs we had seen about which she had done without question.
So now we come to this years holidays - without a second thought Amy has been booked. I would happily recommend Amy for any of your animal needs. She is an absolute breath of fresh air. She is referred to as Auntie Amy in my house."
